Propane Gas Line Repairs - ADOPTED
Nuestra Familia relies on a propane gas line for power. Preventative and corrective maintenance work, supervised by local authorities must be done. Some of the tasks for this project include cleaning and correcting the assembly of the piping due to previous leaks and poor installation, replacing or cleaning rusted pipes, color coded paint according to civil protection codes, adding required labels and signs for gas flow, and work on sealing and insulating sections of the pipes that are exposed to the exterior of the home. These repairs will help avoid possible fire or explosion. Additional valves are also required to allow different sections to be shut off at a time. Critical projects like this are costly to the homes but very needed.
What's a Project Tile?
Homes often have high priority needs that arise within the Thrive Certification Program. Because we can’t anticipate when a project will be adopted by a donor, we fulfill these needs immediately by advancing the funds to pay for the need. That’s where you come in.
By adopting a project, you replenish the funds we spent on that need in order to allow future high priority requests to be fulfilled when they are most needed.
Everyone who adopts a project can rest assured that 100% of their contribution will go to a project that really matters right now— not to overhead, not to other projects, just the one specific project they chose.
