Turnover is Every Company’s Nightmare

If you are a leader at your organization you know what happens when people are not given the tools or incentives to grow: they leave. On the other hand, companies that develop their teams keep them engaged, retain their best people, and grow stronger over time.

The same is true for caregivers working with orphaned and vulnerable children. These caregivers carry an enormous load, often with limited training, few resources, and no one to turn to. It’s the equivalent of ill-trained employees at your business. However, when caregivers are equipped and supported, they stay, they grow in their work, and children start to heal, to have hope of living with a family.

At A Child’s Hope Foundation we know that the best way to improve the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children is to support their caregivers. When we give these dedicated people proper training, create a community to support them, and provide resources, children will thrive.

A Gift You Can Understand

Every child needs a steady, loving adult by their side and for millions of children around the world, that adult is a caregiver in a children's home: a house parent, a director, a social worker who shows up every single day, until the child can be placed with a family.

And if your team can appreciate the need to develop their own skills to do a better job, they will easily comprehend the need to provide quality, on-going training for caregivers.

Companies are asked to support dozens of causes every year. Most of those requests end the same way: a donation, a logo on a banner, and a thank-you note from the Executive Director. The support is truly appreciated, and it is forgotten until the next fiscal year.

More and more leaders are now looking at something different. They want a kind of giving they can explain to their board, their employees, and their customers. They want to know where their support goes and what it actually changes. And they want a relationship with the organization they support, not a mere transaction.

Partnerships Built to Last

Corporate partners can join A Child's Hope through different commitments shaped around their goals. Some want visibility with a values-driven audience, others want meaningful ways to engage their employees. Many want both.

Through the reports we send, partners can see their impact clearly, because every contribution strengthens the adults children depend on. Over time, partners come to know the people and communities their support reaches. That is what turns giving into a meaningful relationship, and that’s the kind of partnership we build.

Event Sponsorship. Our events bring together donors, community leaders, and families who care deeply about children. Sponsors are recognized in front of an engaged audience that shares their values.

Employee Engagement. Your team can volunteer at events, give through matching and workplace giving programs, and follow the stories their support makes possible. When employees see their company standing up for children, they feel part of something bigger than their day-to-day work.

Leadership Trips. For partners who want to go deeper, A Child's Hope hosts trips for executives and board members–or your exemplary staff–to see the work in person.

Seeing the Work Firsthand

Reading an impact report is one thing. Standing in the room where change happens is another.

Leadership trips to Baja California, Mexico and partner communities in Africa give your executives and board a firsthand look at what their support makes possible: caregivers building new skills, leaders from children's homes learning from one another, and communities growing stronger around the children they serve. Your board can see the real benefits, not just a slide about them.

Every trip is designed with children's wellbeing first. Visits center on caregivers and the adults who care for children, and they follow child protection standards that respect each child's privacy, routine, and dignity. Leaders return with more than photos. They return with a clear understanding of the difference their company makes, and the conviction to champion it.

Recognition and Reporting

Partners deserve to know what their support accomplishes. Our donors receive regular updates grounded in outcome reporting from the children's homes A Child's Hope works with, so you can share real results with your leadership, employees, and stakeholders.

Recognition is tailored to each partnership. It can include event visibility, features in A Child's Hope communications, and content your team can share on its own channels. Your commitment is seen by the people who matter to you.

Let's Start a Conversation

Every partnership begins with a conversation about your company's goals, your team, and the difference you want to make. If your company is looking for giving with lasting meaning, we would love to talk.
