The Thrive Collective is an international network of people working in the orphaned and vulnerable children sector. Any individual can apply to become a member of the community for free. Once connected, everyone can fully navigate and access all products and services from A Child’s Hope Foundation.
Collaboration events include things like Roundtables, Town Halls, and Conferences. It’s all about providing opportunities to bring people together so they can meet other people, learn, solve problems together, and increase awareness about current issues.
Most organizations are very well intentioned in their efforts to serve children and we are eager to meet them because we believe in sharing information, learning from each other, and honoring the good work being done throughout the world. That’s why we make introductions and referrals to other organizations wherever possible.
To be trusted by donors and partners a home needs to provide good information about its programs, financials, and other reporting. Transparency Validation is a profile filled out by orphanage homes that will showcase this information to people interested in donating or helping in any other way. Similar to “Candid/Guidestar”, it encourages homes to incorporate best practices.
Each profile will have a Bronze/Silver/Gold/Platinum rating based on the extent of information provided. Assigning a rating is not the same as endorsing the organization, it simply identifies their level of transparency.
Raising awareness of the plight of orphaned and vulnerable children around the world is essential to our mission.
We want to educate on the reality of orphanages and alternative care options, inspiring people and organizations to prioritize family reunification and family placement wherever possible. We do this through website content, blog posts, social media content, videos, and other mediums.
While not a lobbying organization or an organization highly focused on policy, we do advocate for children’s rights and their care providers when opportunity arises. This is accomplished in many ways, including facilitated conversations with government entities.
ACHF hosts public and private service trips with the goal of inspiring lifelong humanitarians.
Most trips are hosted in Baja, Mexico in partnership with the orphanage homes we work with. Occasionally, a trip will be held elsewhere in the world.
