By making a monthly donation of any amount, you become an aunt or uncle to the children we serve. Therapy, tutors, mentors, and caregivers cost $71/child/month. Monthly donations ensure that we can provide these needs to the kids, plus it has perks for you! Make a One-Time Donation
100% of every donation goes directly to providing services for the children. All of our overhead costs, including credit card processing fees, are covered by foundational donors so you can be sure that all of your generous donation is truly helping vulnerable children. See if Your Company Matches Donations
Many companies will match charitable gifts dollar for dollar the same amount that their employees donate, and sometimes they’ll match 2 to 1 or even 3 to 1. In this way, your donations could double their impact without you having to double your donation amount. Contact your Human Resources department to find out if your company will match your donations and to learn how to set it up!
Become a Local or Remote Volunteer
Half of our organization is made up of volunteers and we could not do this work without them. From volunteering at events to cleaning the office to working in our departments for many hours each week, volunteers play a vital role at A Child’s Hope. If you are interested in volunteering locally (or remotely for a few positions), fill out the volunteer application form HERE.
Become a Trip Host or Construction Supervisor
If you fluently speak Spanish, you’re a great problem-solver, and you are a wonderful leader, then trip leadership might be the place for you! Trip hosts lead groups of 30+ on week-long trips to orphanages in Mexico. They work closely with the orphanage directors to make service trips the best they can be. Construction Supervisors oversee all construction projects done on service trips and assist trip hosts as needed. If you’re handy and good at teaching others how to work, you may be a good fit. Sign up For a Service Trip
Service trips offer a way for you and your family to serve in humble circumstances. Though not comfortable, volunteers go back time after time to visit the children they come to love. You’ll do construction and other service projects in the mornings, improving the family-style orphanages and their communities (no previous skills required). Then, you’ll play hard with the kids in the afternoons, bringing fun and joy, letting them know people care about them. See firsthand how A Child’s Hope is helping orphaned children in Mexico. Fund a Special Need
Our team works with orphanage directors to identify their greatest needs, out of which we create Project Tiles. These may be funds for medical expenses, new kitchen equipment, water heaters, and many other things. You can “adopt” a project tile by funding that need yourself or by raising funds with friends and family. Learn more and check out current needs to “adopt” a Project Tile below!
Attend or Sponsor an Event
Events are a great way to meet the team and learn more about A Child’s Hope. Whether you bring your family to our Celebrate Hope night, sponsor a hole at our Golf Tournament, or purchase a table at our Gala, it’s sure to be a great time.
