Obed is one member of the Thrive Collective who has exemplified how to enhance impact. Not long after joining, Obed organized a group of OVC leaders to travel by bus in order to attend a Trauma Free World training in Nairobi. These leaders included child protection consultants and directors of residential care facilities who carry daily responsibility for children that have known loss, instability, and trauma. The training proved transformational as leaders learned new ways of caring for vulnerable children, along with tools to better care for themselves.

No single organization put that bus on the road. This success was the result of hundreds of moments, built on relationships and investments from multiple people. When individuals and organizations choose to bring what they have to the table and collaborate together, anything becomes possible.
