Join us for an immersive vision trip to Kenya designed for leaders, practitioners, and partners who want to deepen their understanding of global orphan care and co-create solutions that support children and families to thrive.
This vision trip is not a tour. It is a learning experience rooted in humility, partnership, and systems thinking. Participants will:
Improve their understanding of the complex, adaptive challenges within the global orphan care sector.
Work alongside local partners to better understand how systems, culture, and context shape outcomes for children and families.
Generate ideas for local and global health solutions focused on the physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being of children in residential care and families navigating reunification.
This experience is designed to challenge assumptions, expand perspective, and inspire more effective, context-aware action.
Immersive, multi-day learning experience with Shelter Yetu, our trusted local partner in Kenya
Collaborative roundtable discussions with a variety of partners working across global children’s health, family care, and development
Three-day, two-night safari, offering space for reflection, relationship-building, and experiencing Kenya’s natural beauty
Estimated cost: ~$6,000 per person + flights
This will likely include:
Program costs and on-the-ground logistics
A charitable donation to our partnering organizations in Kenya
A 3-day, 2-night safari experience
International flights are not included.
This trip is ideal for funders, health experts, practitioners, and advocates who want to learn directly from local partners, engage deeply with complex global challenges, and explore how collaborative approaches can lead to more sustainable outcomes for children and families.
