Welcome
The Collective at A Child’s Hope Foundation exists to eliminate isolation in the orphan care sector. We do this by connecting everyone in the sector to the support they need. This interdisciplinary community consists of NGO leaders, government officials, social workers, religious leaders, entrepreneurs, directors of children’s homes, foster parents, and more. Each member is dedicated to collaboration and collective impact.
The Impact
Two members of The Collective, Heidi and Gerald, connected at a virtual Town Hall in 2023. Gerald’s expertise in organizational leadership was exactly what Heidi’s team needed. Heidi invited Gerald to lead the board retreat for her organization and the workshops he led expanded their cohesion and understanding of annual goals and fundraising.
Our Communities
We serve many professionals working in the orphan care space, but the three main segments are:
NGO Workers
Individuals working at an NGO serving orphans and vulnerable children (executive directors, programs directors, psychologists, social workers, etc.)
Care Providers
Individuals providing direct residential care to orphans and vulnerable children (orphanage directors, caregivers, foster parents, alternative family leaders, etc.)
Government Agents
Individuals at any level of government working directly with vulnerable children and families (municipal social workers, state foster care agents, federal attorneys, etc.)
